Short answer: Pragmatic Play’s demo data lists Wild Hop & Drop at a regular RTP of 96.46% and a maximum win of 5,000 times the bet. The game is a 6×6 cluster game: a win needs a group of six or more matching symbols, and a growing frog wild is part of the route to the top prize. At a ₱20 spin the theoretical return is ₱96.46 per ₱100 wagered, and the cap is ₱100,000. Those are the provider’s figures. The 1,000-round demo sample we ran is too small to test the RTP, and the numbers below show how far a sample can drift.

jiliko has kept three things apart: the numbers Pragmatic Play publishes, the calculations we made from them, and what the demo sample recorded. We did not play with real money, and we did not check any operator’s version of the game.

The game page and the demo data agree on the regular RTP and on the 5,000x maximum win. The purchase figure comes from the demo data only. We have not verified any purchase price on a real platform, so no peso price is given for buying a feature.

A peso reading at ₱20 per spin

Our calculation, using the regular RTP and a flat ₱20 stake:

Measure (our calculation) Result at ₱20 per spin
Theoretical loss per spin (3.54% of stake) ₱0.71
Theoretical loss per 100 spins (₱2,000 wagered) ₱70.80
Largest possible win (5,000 × ₱20) ₱100,000
Chance of the maximum win in one round about 1 in 3.2 million

These are long-run averages. A cluster game can go many spins with small returns and then produce a much larger one, so an average says little about a single session.

What our 1,000-round demo sample recorded

We ran 1,000 rounds on Pragmatic Play’s free demo server at 2.00 demo units per spin (0.10 coin × 20 lines). The demo returned 962 paid spins. Each paid spin was counted with every win it produced, including any free-game spins it triggered. The rest of the calls were continuation steps, not extra stakes.

Bar chart of 962 paid spins by win size: 79.4% no win, 10.9% under 1x, 5.4% from 1x to 2x, 2.2% from 2x to 5x, 1.6% from 5x to 20x and 0.5% at 20x or more
Chart by jiliko from our demo tally. It describes one sample, not the game’s long-run distribution.

Of the 962 paid spins, 20.6% returned something above zero and 79.4% returned nothing. The largest single result was 65 times the stake, and the sample returned 60.5% of the amount staked. The 95% range for that return, calculated from the spread of individual results, runs from 40% to 81%.

That range sits entirely below the official 96.46%. We do not treat it as evidence that the game pays less than its RTP. A sample of 962 spins with a 5,000x cap, in which the big wins are rare, is dominated by a few large results and by long dry runs, and it can drift a long way from the average in either direction. What the sample does show is how much a short run can differ from the stated return.

Why a sample cannot settle the RTP

The RTP is the return over a very large number of spins. The maximum-win frequency of about 1 in 3.2 million tells you that the top prize will not appear in any realistic test. Between those two extremes, most of the return comes from wins that are too uncommon to show up reliably in a few hundred rounds. A sample can describe the rounds it saw. It cannot confirm or refute the long-run figure.

If you want to check a game for yourself, record every paid spin, express each win as a multiple of the stake, and compare the spread with the published maximum-win frequency. Treat the result as a description of your own sample, not as a test of the RTP.

Verified, calculated and not verified

Verified: the regular RTP of 96.46%, the 5,000x maximum win, the maximum-win frequency and the cluster-and-frog description, as shown in Pragmatic Play’s demo game information and game page on 17 October 2026. Calculated by jiliko: the peso reading at ₱20, the loss per 100 spins, the bucket shares and the sample return range. Not verified: the purchase cost on any real platform, any operator’s RTP setting, the rate at which the frog wild grows and whether a local site runs the same build. We did not register, deposit, or play for money.
